Prompt 1: Get Context
I’m preparing for a one-on-one with my team member. Here are my notes from our previous meetings: Please review these notes and summarise:
- The main themes or challenges they’re working through
- Any commitments or goals they mentioned
- Topics that haven’t been resolved or revisited
- Patterns you notice in what they care about or struggle with.
Keep it concise - I need this as a quick refresher before our meeting.

Prompt 2: Coaching Questions Inspo
Based on these notes and themes, generate 4-5 coaching questions I can use in our next one-on-one. These should:
∙ Help them think through challenges, not just report on status
∙ Build on topics we’ve discussed before
∙ Encourage reflection and self-direction
∙ Use a facilitative coaching style (open-ended, curious, developmental).
Focus on questions that move them forward, not just check progress.
